Overview
Experience the trip of a life time aboard Hervey Bay's newest whale watching vessel.
With 3 levels and 5 clear viewing decks and full walk around access we offer you 360 degree panoramic views of the ocean.
Take advantage of our new, specifically designed hydraulic viewing platform that allows you a “walking on water” whale watching experience. With capabilities of dropping you a foot below the waters surface, never before has anyone been able to get you this up close and personal.
Keeping with our theme of having a new addition to the boat every year, this year we at The Tasman Venture have added two underwater camera's in the hull of the boat that will beam live underwater whale action to screens inside the saloon making sure you miss nothing.
View the whales live in the comfort of our air-conditioned underwater viewing rooms. The vessel is also equipped with a state of the art Hydrophone which allows you to experience the unique song of the Humpback Whale.

Location
Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast - Queensland)
We depart from the Urangan Boat Harbour. We are able to provide a pick-up service within the local area of Hervey Bay.
Exact meeting point and supplier's details are provided immediately after booking.
Numbers
Our luxurious and spacious vessel holds a maximum of 120 guests, however, we do feel that the comfort of our passengers are of great importance so we keep our numbers down to 80-90 passengers on each tour.
Session Time
We have 2 tours departing daily at 8.30am and 1.30pm. Each trip runs for 4 hours.
Guidelines & Restrictions
As you will be out at sea, please bring plenty of warm clothing. We also advise you to bring motion sickness medicine if you think that you may be affected by the sea swell.

Booking Insurance
It is recommended that you consider GoDo Cancellation Cover. This is insurance cover for losses incurred if the activity is cancelled (under certain circumstances) by you or the activity supplier. Click here for further details.
Please note: GoDo and/or the activity supplier cannot provide a REFUND for cancellations, no matter the reasons. However, should you obtain Cancellation Cover, you maybe be able to make a claim directly to Mondial Assistance, our Cancellation Cover provider.
