Full Day Trike Tour and Historic Train Ride

Description

Your adventure starts when we collect you for an early morning trike ride to the historic Old Gympie Station where you can step back in time. Here you will climb aboard a wonderful old train for a rollicking journey to Amamoor. Sit back and relax as you ride this historic train and take the opportunity to view rural life, dairies, livestock and farms in the beautiful Mary Valley.

You will soon arrive at the fully restored and original Amamoor Railway Station to then rejoin your trike tour. You will ride through some tiny rural towns and up the amazing Obi Obi Pass to stop for a delicious lunch at the Mapleton Tavern. Here you can take in the spectacular views over the Sunshine Coast from the verandah.

After lunch we will continue your trike ride over the top of the Blackall Range through the hinterland townships of Montville and Maleny for a coffee at Mary Cairncross Park. Remember to bring your camera to capture the world class views of the Glasshouse Mountains before returning to your pick up point.

This tour departs from various locations between Caloundra and Noosa on the Sunshine Coast. The Sunshine Coast is about 1 hour north of Brisbane. We offer complimentary door to door service is between Noosa and Caloundra.

Participant Guidelines

Jackets and helmets are provided. There is a combined weight limit of 190 kg for 2 passengers. The price quoted is for 2 people and includes a scenic trike ride, train fare as well as afternoon tea.

Must be booked at least 2 days before activity.

Session Length

This is a full day tour, running for approximately 6 hours. Departure time on Wednesday and Sunday is 8.15 am. Departure time on Tuesday and Saturday is 7.45 am.

Numbers on Day

This package is for 2 passengers per trike plus your own personal chauffeur.
