Scuba Dive Fish Rock Cave - Midweek Special for 2

Description

Voted among the top ten dives in Australia, Fish Rock is located just over 2 kilometres off Smoky Cape at South West Rocks on the New South Wales Mid North Coast. Created by a fault in the island, Fish Rock Cave runs from the deeper seaward entrance at 24 metres 125 metres through the rock emerging into the blue, fish filled, silhouetted shallower entrance fringed by pink gorgonian corals at 12 metres. Fish Rock is home to an unbeatable combination of very special marine creatures.

On a dive trip to South West Rocks and Fish Rock, expect to dive with friendly turtles (all year round), grey nurse sharks (especially April - November) and masses of schooling fish which feed in the passing currents. Expect to see schools of pelagics, giant Queensland grouper, rare black coral gardens, anemones, clownfish, shells, lionfish, lobsters, large stingrays, migrating humpback whales...there''s just too much to list so you''d better come and see it for yourself!

Participant Guidelines

Guides cater to divers of all levels of experience. However, participants must be certified open water divers

Scuba charters are operated by professional, experienced dive guides. The business is family owned and has been in operation since 1980

Equipment sales, hire and service is available onsite. Underwater cameras are also avilable for hire. The dive site may be altered depending on weather conditions.

Session Length

5 Nights lodge accommodation 8 Boat Dives (2 per day) Accommodation: Sunday - Thursday (Inclusive) Diving: Monday - Thursday (2 dives per day)

Numbers on Day

Maximum of 5-7 participants, guided by one dive master. We prefer to take smaller groups for a more personalised experience
